Thank you for purchasing digital products from SketchAndEtc.
This Digital Download & License Policy explains how digital products purchased from SketchAndEtc.com may and may not be used.
Digital products may include Procreate brushes, brush sets, digital artwork, printable files, textures, templates, creative resources, and other downloadable materials.
By purchasing and downloading a digital product from SketchAndEtc, you agree to the license terms below.
1. Digital Products Are Licensed, Not Sold
When you purchase a digital product from SketchAndEtc, you are purchasing a license to use the product according to these terms.
Copyright and ownership of the original digital files, designs, artwork, brushes, textures, and other creative materials remain with SketchAndEtc, unless otherwise specifically stated.
Purchasing a digital product does not transfer its copyright or intellectual-property ownership to you.
2. Personal Use
Unless otherwise stated on the individual product page, you may use purchased SketchAndEtc digital products for your own personal creative projects.
For example, you may:
Install purchased Procreate brushes on your compatible personal devices.
Use the brushes to draw, paint, practice, and create original artwork.
Use digital resources as part of your personal creative projects.
Print eligible printable products for your own personal use.
3. Commercial Use of Procreate Brushes
Unless a particular product states otherwise, you may use SketchAndEtc Procreate brushes to create your own original artwork for commercial purposes.
For example, you may use the brushes to create original:
Illustrations
Paintings
Prints
Stickers
Greeting cards
Books and publications
Client artwork
Social-media content
Merchandise featuring your own finished artwork
You may sell your finished original artwork created using SketchAndEtc brushes.
You do not need to credit SketchAndEtc when selling artwork you created using our brushes, although credit is always appreciated.
The commercial-use permission applies to the artwork you create with the brushes, not to the brush files themselves.
4. You May NOT Redistribute the Digital Files
You may not:
Resell SketchAndEtc digital files.
Resell or redistribute SketchAndEtc Procreate brushes or .brushset files.
Share purchased files with friends, customers, coworkers, or other individuals.
Give the files away for free.
Upload the files to Google Drive, Dropbox, file-sharing websites, forums, groups, or similar services for others to download.
Upload or redistribute the files through social media or messaging groups.
Include the original files in another digital product or bundle.
Repackage or rename the files and sell or distribute them as your own.
Convert the files to another format for the purpose of redistribution.
Claim that you created the original SketchAndEtc brushes, files, artwork, or resources.
One purchase is for one customer/license holder unless a product specifically states otherwise.
5. Creating Competing Brush Products
You may use SketchAndEtc brushes to create artwork, including artwork you sell.
However, you may not use our brush files themselves as the basis for creating, extracting, modifying, repackaging, or distributing a competing brush pack.
You may not make minor modifications to a SketchAndEtc brush and then sell or distribute it as a new brush.
6. Digital Artwork, Graphics & Other Resources
Commercial-use permissions for digital artwork, templates, graphics, textures, printables, and other resources may differ from those provided for Procreate brushes.
Please check the individual product description.
Unless commercial use is specifically granted for that product, these digital products are licensed for personal use only.
You may not sell an unmodified or minimally modified SketchAndEtc digital asset as your own product.
7. Printables
Unless otherwise stated, printables purchased from SketchAndEtc are for personal use.
You may print them for yourself, but you may not:
Sell the digital file.
Sell physical copies.
Redistribute the file.
Upload the file for others to download.
Use it as part of another product for resale.
A separate commercial license may be offered for selected products.
8. AI and Machine Learning
Unless SketchAndEtc provides explicit written permission, you may not use the original SketchAndEtc digital files, brush files, artwork, or other downloadable assets as datasets or source material for training, fine-tuning, or developing generative AI or machine-learning models.
This restriction does not prevent you from using your own finished artwork created with SketchAndEtc brushes in ways otherwise permitted by this license.
9. Compatibility
Please review the product description before purchasing to ensure that the product is compatible with your device and software.
For example, products described specifically as Procreate brushes require compatible Procreate software and hardware unless otherwise stated.
SketchAndEtc cannot guarantee compatibility with software or applications not listed in the product description.
10. Download Problems
If your download is missing, corrupted, or not working as described, contact us at:

We will make reasonable efforts to help you access or use the purchased files.
11. Refunds
Because digital products cannot physically be returned, refunds for digital purchases are handled according to our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Please contact us if a file is defective, corrupted, missing, incorrect, or materially different from its product description.
Nothing in this policy limits consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
12. Copyright
All original SketchAndEtc digital products remain protected by applicable copyright and intellectual-property laws.
Unauthorized copying, redistribution, resale, or sharing of our digital products may result in termination of the applicable license and other remedies available under applicable law.
13. Changes to This License
SketchAndEtc may update this policy for future purchases as products and licensing options evolve.
The license applicable to a purchase should be interpreted according to the terms provided or made available in connection with that purchase, subject to applicable law.
